Even though these are wides, on others advice I went up a 1/2 size. I bought these for trail hiking. I’ve used them on various terrain for 1-3 miles at a time. I haven’t used them for longer stretches yet. The waterproofing seems to be sufficient though for wet grass and small puddles, not sure about rain or extended water walking.

I love Columbia boots for hiking, I always order size 8 wide and they are comfortable right out of the box. However these fit different, they feel loose on my feet even with two pair of socks so I’m not satisfied this time.
I was excited to receive it, but when I tried they are tight even I ordered wide☹️
