Love them straight out the box

I loved these boots straight out of the box. They fit perfectly. I tried them on with thick and low-medium weight socks for hiking and they feel great. I purchased them for hiking and walking through the Redwoods in September 2026 in California. I'm only giving this review 4 stars out of 5 because I cant rate the traction, waterproofing, breathability, and stability just yet. However, I feel very stable in these boots just walking around my apartment with them on. The cushioning is also very nice. I love that these boots are stylish, has vibram and overall just look and feel nice. I feel supported ahead of my upcoming outdoor adventure. I can't wait to wear them outdoors during my 40th birthday roadtrip visit to the Redwoods in California and Oregon. I feel very well prepared with these boots for whatever the terrain will provide in September. This is my 2nd pair of Columbia hiking boots in my life and without hesitation so far Columbia delivers again. The fit is perfect. I purchased my actual size which is a 9.5 US and they feel great. Perfect room in the toebox. Doesn't feel clunky or extremely light like some hiking boots, just a nice weight for me. I feel very comfortable with this purchase of day hiking boots that I believe will stand up to most terrains that aren't extreme. I searched REI and MEC and couldn't find a day hiking boot that made me feel secure, comfortable, and within my price range. I'm glad I found these via Columbia. The colors in the men are nice too, but I'm happy with my purchase. Standard shipping was fine too from London, ON to Calgary, AB. Thanks Columbia.
