100/10 Shoe!
I bought these shoes specifically for my trip to Glacier National Park, and honestly, they were the best shoes I could have picked. The ankle support and cushioning were amazing, especially because I’ve had ankle injuries in the past. I never felt worried about twisting my ankle, even on some of the rougher trails. The traction was also a huge plus. I came across slippery rocks, dirt, and wet areas, and I was able to get through everything without a problem. And they’re waterproof! My feet stayed dry the entire time. What surprised me the most was that I didn’t even break them in before the trip, and I didn’t get a single blister. I normally wear a 6.5, but I got a size 6 and they fit perfectly with just enough room around my toes. I would recommend going about half a size down. The shoe is a little heavy, but I honestly didn’t mind because you can tell the extra weight comes from all the support and protection it gives you. This was my first ever hiking shoe, and it seriously did a 100/10 job. I hiked some pretty challenging trails in Glacier with them and had zero problems. I can’t wait to take them with me to my next National Park!
