Fit as described, truly waterproof, I was able to hike in them day one. I bought them for a horse packing trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montrana. Shoes must have a heel and not real bulky sole that would grab stirrup.Shoes must also be able to hike steep grades comfortably also. These will work very well. I will be wearing them hiking and riding till my trip.
