After using regular sneakers I finally invested in boots for more ankle support, and these have been great. It’s all too common for me to get blisters with new shoes, but not with these! These offer a lot of support but are also super light, and were more comfortable than my favorite pair of sneakers. 10/10!

The numerous five star reviews for these boots are "sweepstakes entry" reviews, which I was suspicious of. I should have trusted my gut. I was baffled by how many reviews claim these boots are comfortable straight out of the box--this is just not true. The ankle area of the boot is incredibly stiff, has little to no cushioning, and feels as if its going to bruise my ankle bones. These feel very cheaply made. I tried walking around the house in the boots thinking I needed to break them in, but they're too painful. Additionally, I ordered these is 7.5 wide and they don't feel wide enough. I had to double check that I ordered wide because they still feel narrow.
