Poor quality
It seems these shows are not made very well. The hard stays within the shoe can be felt which makes for a spot that can cause blisters.

Thank you, Columbia for offering a waterproof light hiker in WIDE widths! Makes all the difference for me! True to size and fit; roomy toe box. Nice color. Sometimes described as a trail runner, but I think the flatter sole and less heel cushioning make these feel more like hiking shoes than running shoes.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Repeat customer is still 100% pleased with wide walking sneakers. I purchase Columbia Womens sneakers every 1 1/2 years for my daily walks of 2-2 1/2 miles. I really like the fit near my ankle as the gravel from the 2 parks I walk at does not go into my sneaker like other footwear has in the past. The sole lasts longer than discount shoe rack sneakers.
This is a great all-around shoe for outdoor adventures. I bought a pair a year ago to use for travel that would include hiking outdoors in chillier weather, but also a few days trekking around a hot, European city. The shoe was comfortable to wear for both situations. It's a little warmer than a sneaker, but not too hot, and the wide width allows for some breathing room. I had no cases of discomfort or achy feet with these. Since the trip, I have used these as everyday walking shoes, and for hiking as well. They have shown almost no wear and still fit comfortably. I recently ordered a second pair, because when they do give out (which may not be for a long time) I want to have another pair on hand.
Yes, I recommend this product.
