Truly waterproof jacket

I bought this jacket as a replacement for a Reign No Shine outdry jacket that I loved but was starting to peel on the sleeve. Columbia’s customer service was amazing and got credit for me. I was at first concerned that this new jacket had a much lighter feel, but it seems very durable and the outset waterproofing is the best I have used. This jacket is cut a little more athletic. It didn’t have the armpit vents or the adjustable cuffs, but I think it’s going to work well for me. I drive a bread route at night and I’m exposed to heavy rains while making 70-75 stops a night. I was totally dry after a night of heavy rain, so I have very high hopes that this jacket holds up.
