I purchased these shoes one month ago. I travelled across the US, only using these shoes. I was able to hike on wet and uneven ground, as well as walk through the city, I have difficulty getting shoes to fit, but these fit perfectly and provided my ankles and feet with good stability. I am seriously considering buying a second pair.
Bought these end of December 2025. By March 2025 they started leaking and were replaced under warranty. Second pair were fine until this April 2026. Second pair started leaking. I bought them because they were advertised as being waterproof. Neither pair lived up to that statement. Very disappointed.
I was looking for 3-season walking shoes, water-resistant but breathable, high ankle for warmth during shoulder season but not too hot for summer, sturdy enough for rough surfaces but flexible & comfortable with some cushioning for plantar fasciitis. These shoes delivered on all fronts, they are fantastic. I've been using them for several weeks now and am very happy with them. These are probably more for casual hiking, not extreme terrain, as the sole may not be quite rugged and sturdy enough for that, but they are still good for rough surfaces and off-road walking while being light and flexible enough for comfort. 5 out of 5 for sure.

A: Great question! While a custom insert would not reduce the actual width of the Shoe, molded insoles can provide the more narrow fit you are looking for. We hope this helps!
