The toe box feels good! Seems like a well made boot, and significantly cheaper than other brands I researched. I sometimes opt for wide shoes, so I've been breaking them in a mostly flat, dry path and my toes still felt comfortable after 5-6 miles.

I love these boots. I've been wearing these boots everyday, five days a week, 52 weeks a year. They are my go-to work boot. They're like wearing tennis shoes, they're that comfortable. The toe box can sometimes run a bit narrow but they have always been true to length. I've never had to size up. They can also be a bit snug around the ankles in the beginning but they do loosen up with wear. They do hold up to all day, every day wear nicely. The soles have a great grip without making the squeaky sounds when walking on tile. I usually get about three years out of a pair before I have to replace them. The waterproofing does wear off just a bit in that time, but they do still keep my feet dry. I do wish they had a bit more arch support, though. That's the only shortcoming I find.
This is my second pair of Columbia hiking boots and i have not been disappointed. Not only are these boots very comfortable, the styles are one of a kind. I highly recommend! Buy them!
