Huge hand pockets! Or vents? Unzips to chest level

This jacket felt shorter than it looks in the picture. The lining is a neat texture and I am sure will feel comfortable in a damp environment. The cuffs are only elastic and arms a little short so you cannot pull down over your hands in cooler weather. Felt nice and lightweight though. The deal breaker though was the "hand" pockets unzip all the way up to your chest and go from top down. So you cannot partially unzip the pockets to put your hands in. If it was really raining, you would be wet from the chest if you had a pocket open for your hands. Not sure if they are supposed to double as vents since no under arm zippers? And if so, should have put in a double zipper or from bottom up?

A truly waterproof jacket!!

This is a great hiking rain jacket and especially for ultralight hiking. I have owned a Columbia Featherweight for years now and this would be the heir to that: lightweight, packable, and truly waterproof. I took a shower in it and my shirt underneath did not get wet at all. VTaped seams. It also feels a bit stronger and more durable than the Featherweight, although still quite thin. The design is much nicer too without the plastic bag look, really an attractive jacket. I cannot yet attest to the breathability as I have not yet tried that out, but for sure this is a completely waterproof jacket. I am not sure why kind of magic tech is in Outdry but it works very well. I highly recommend. I usually wear XS in Columbia but sized up to a S so I could layer stuff underneath. It still fits very well.
