Columbia’s the best!

I needed a waterproof raincoat and this fit the bill! I wanted something durable, light and breathable. The extra perk is that you can fold it into the pocket for a tight little package if your hiking. There’s cinching on the waist that locks in with a plastic spring-loaded clip, there’s a simple cinch mechanism for the hood, the hood is slightly brimmed and there’s Velcro closures for the wrists and down the zipper to properly seal the front zipper. Overall I’m happy with my purchase!

I gave this item an 'average' rating as I purchased it for a Christmas gift, and cannot give you the recipient's thoughts on the item. The women's purple one of similar design was greatly appreciated by the recipient. These people live three blocks from the beach and I chose them thinking of morning walks on the beach. I have purchased Columbia products for myself in the past and I know their quality. That reason is why I chose these items for my friends.
