I bought this as a gift for an avid day hiker. It's perfect with chest staps to take the stress off of her shoulders-she didn't know how much of a difference that would make. I especially like the smallish zippered outside pocket near the bottom outside of the pack. It's perfect for driver's license and c cards. The water bottle holders are generous sized so no wrangling to put it in and out of the pocket, yet deep enough to keep the bottles from falling out! Another very nice detail is the carrying handles! It is a small detail that can be very, very helpful! As I write this review, I am thinking that I might need to purchase one for myself!
