I buy exclusively Columbia shoes for work. All weather, outdoor work. It's difficult to tell that the shoe is completely open to air on sides and is not true to size compared with other Columbia shoes that I've owned

Nice shoes. I guess I didn’t read the description well, because I didn’t realize there are openings on the sides of the shoes. They are comfortable, however they don’t fit as well as my Sauconys. Columbia shoes usually have good durability so I will evaluate that as more time goes by
