This belt served its purpose for a couple months until the metal buckle snapped.

Gets looser, only temporarily hold up pants.

Will not any pants up more than an hour. You can pull as tight as you want, but every time you move or breathe, it loosens up. An hour later you see a lot of underwear where there should be pants.
Good product, but unacceptable packaging standards

The belt itself is of good quality and works as expected. However, I am extremely disappointed with the packaging. I received this item twice, and both times the plastic bag was intentionally ripped open at the barcode area. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed that this is their operational standard for 'scanning efficiency' in the warehouse. As a customer paying for a premium brand, I expect to receive a 'new' item in factory-sealed condition, not something that looks tampered with or poorly handled for the staff's convenience. If you care about receiving your items in pristine, unopened packaging, be prepared to see them arrived torn. It’s a shame that such a great brand has such sloppy quality control in their shipping process.
I got it to work, but not as designed

As designed, and straight out of the package - the belt slipped immediately. I tightened it to a semi uncomfortable level and it began to loosen just walking around. Obviously not what you want in a belt. And it's not like this is some designer belt where you'd wear it for fashion either. I was able to make it hold, however, by rethreading the latch and moving the tag end to the inside while worn. If I can add a photo, I will. I would encourage those that are stuck with this belt to give this a shot. Here's what I did: - Pull the belt completely out the latch piece - Insert the belt into the slot closest to the hook, from the front (Front being what you are looking at the belt while worn) - Insert the tag end into the remaining slot - This essentially completely reverses the stock routing of the belt, but fixes the design for retention. - The buckle will want to open and loosen when detached from the other side of the belt. To fix that, I stretched the retaining loop over the buckle. Note that the part of the buckle you would pull on to loosen it will now be behind the belt material while worn, but again this will keep it taught. My main use case was for use while carrying pack with a waist buckle. The flat design means no belt poking into my waist. After the rethreading of the belt, it serves that function well.

Q: How is this belt used? The end of the strap is too thick to slide out of the buckle, and the other end, with the leather catch does not separate from the strap. A belt that you can't open?
