Lousy zipper!

This shirt has a really cheap, almost non-functioning zipper. Such an expensive shirt should have a much better zipper.

This is the perfect lightweight jacket to take on hikes! It has good water resistance and the bug repellency works perfectly! Also love the built in bug net in the hood!

Effective sun and insect repellent

I wear this jacket 12-15 hours per day and the sun protection is above average. I would recommend wearing sunscreen or an additional sun protection shirt underneath. The insect repellent feature is starting to wane a bit after 10 washings versus 70 listed on the label. Overall I like this jacket very much for the work I put it through. I will start to wear Proven insect repellent on my skin under the jacket for additional protection.
