I bought this to replace an earlier pair that were by far my favorite hiking shorts, but that fell off my pack on the trail. These are super comfortable and i hope they prove to be as durable as the previous pair.

my size, did not fit, this pants are nice , but they are run size small
These shorts are great. I prefer them over the ROC Lite short because they are less prone to wrinkling and have a drawstring so I don't need a belt. The ripstop like, grid material won't work for everyone in social situations but its fine for me and the material is excellent for high output activities. I just wish these came in a 28" waist. The 30" waist is huge on me so I have to cinch the drawstring down which makes the material at the waist bunch up (I'm a 5'5", 130 lbs guy). The only other improvement I could think of would be to add a similar comfort waistband to the one found on the ROC series.
