Truly, this is my go-to summer short because they come in an array of beautiful colors - like this salmon - and are so comfortable. Not only do they fit well but the inner lining is also a huge win. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Columbia should go back to the original design. These use to be my favorite shorts along with many other customers but not anymore. Why fix something that isnt broke? Very disappointing because I have been wearing the backcast shorts for over 20 years and Im afraid they have lost another customer. There is no longer a side pocket, the front pockets are too deep and hang past the bottom of the shorts if you have anything in them.
I first found these shorts several years ago through a retail store and have afterwards bought them online. The perfect features are: 6" inseam, belt loops, no fly, and choice of colors. As described, sun protection, fast drying, and stain resistent. Inseam length is ideal for us on the shorter side. Tough fabric excellent for chores and keeping others on hand for going out. Just all around perfect.
