The jacket is a good weight, no lining, other than the mesh which is perfect for my needs. Double zipper which is great as I want this for bike riding so can undo at the bottom of the jacket. All the pockets have zipper closures, the sleeves are velcro closures which will keep wind and any moisture out. I like the overlap on the closure which again makes the closure wind proof. The ONLY criticism I have is that the size runs on the large size. I generally take a 3X but I think I could have ordered a 2X.. But I will keep it because I know I can easily fit a hoodie or sweat shirt under it for warmth. I got the safari colour, it is a light sage green.
