Bought this after my last jacket was making me too hot and still absorbed water. This one is very thin but actually water proof and still keeps me warm. The vents help but havent had to use them yet. Because its not make of fabric you can hang dry it very easily.
Yes, I recommend this product.
I purchased via Columbia's website and was told the jacket would arrive within 5 to 7 days, in time for a ski trip. But then I had to contact support several times to be told that the shipment "likely" went out but didn't register in their system, and I would have to wait nearly three weeks to file a lost shipment inquiry to qualify for a (potential) refund. So after spending too much time with customer service, the jacket never arrived and they finally filed a shipping inquiry. At least they credited me in the end, but it was honestly such a frustrating process that I won't be ordering from Columbia again...
Great jacket. I bought this for a trip and was sweating!
Everything is great about the jacket except that it’s too long for my liking. I’m 5’9” and the medium comes down to mid-thigh. Fits in the shoulders and arms great.

A: Great question! While the powder skirt is not removeable, it is less protruding overall to be able to be worn casually as needed. Hope this helps!

A: Great question! This Shell Jacket does not include a roll up or stow away feature. Although many of our other styles include this useful feature. For assistance locating a style that meets your needs, please contact our Customer Care support team!
