old vs new version

had the previous version (silver ridge II) for years, perfect summer outdoor pants, light, fast drying, durable material and horizontal pockets. New version has vertical zipper on a pocket...useless! can't easily put in/take out stuff and the vertical zipper slips from top to bottom! bring back the old version!!!
