These kept me very warm in arctic caves and wet and windy weather in Iceland. They were the perfect base layer. I didn't feel sweaty and even though I wore them a number of times, they didn't develop any odor.

Base layer is very thin and not warm at all. It’s lined with silver dots that in theory are supposed to reflect your body back and keep you warmer. I don’t think these are warm at all. Can’t really tell I’m wearing them. They are true to size and comfortable but they are not warm. I have a base layer made of wool that is MUCH warmer. In fact a regular pair of leggings from Walmart would be warmer.
