I have wide feet and ordered my usual size in W. They were quite loose except in the toe area, where my toes were tightly pinched. Just a bad design. Otherwise, they were attractive and seemed like they would be practical and reasonably comfortable.

This is the 2nd pair I bought. They are comfortable and just right for someone whose feet get cold inside in the summer and also swell at times. They are firm but springy and good for my knees and back when standing. I ordered both pairs in wide and 1/2 size larger than normal. In the winter I can wear them with thick socks. They are well made and look like you could wear them outside, but I'm not sure about waterproofing. They are easy to get on and off, but there is no zipper or Velcro.

A: Great question! With the low cut style of this Boot, there would not be prominent ankle support. Best suited for casual Winter use. Hope this helps,
