Almost Perfect
I have several OutDry garments and been waiting for a ski-version. Up to recently the price-point has kept me from buying one. I got the Primo for about 60% off and its a great buy at that price. At the $600 (Primo) price I don't think so. This jacket is top quality with respect to fit, function, and features for me, 5' 8" 155 lb ~ 40 inch chest. I can easily wear multiple layers and the hood is really helmet compatible, yea it huge. It kept me bone-dry in all kinds of wet weather including getting blasted by snow guns. Two grips, the draw strings for the hood don't work, they slip and I can't cinch the hood down. Not a big deal for me because my helmet is on the large size and sung anyway. Second Columbia only includes a down vest, at this price point it should be a full jacket. The pluses out weigh the negatives for what I paid for the jacket so I'm keeping it. Its a good deal when on sale.
