Poor Durability and Frustrating Warranty Process

I purchased this coat only about four months ago and the zipper has already broken. For a brand like Columbia, I expected much better durability. This jacket is still fairly new — it’s not like it’s years old or heavily worn. What’s even more frustrating is that their warranty process requires me to send the coat in for evaluation, meaning my daughter would have to go without her winter coat while they decide if they will fix it. That’s incredibly inconvenient for something that appears to be a clear defect.

My 11 year old daughter loves this jacket. She said it was warm and cozy. Her favourite is pink but she didn’t mind this color cause it has flowers on it. It was actually a nice color something different. Got her a large size and it has more room for her to grow.

This is a pretty jacket for the unicorn lover, however it does make them look like a linebacker because of the shoulders (look like there's big shoulder pads) and the hood looks like a huge helmet when it is on their head! It is a nice warm jacket though and runs about true to size! We are keeping it! We just giggle a little everytime we look at our little linebacker in it ;)

This coat is great quality. My daughter loves the print and I love the grow-with-me feature to extend the life. Warm without unneeded bulk!
