Great for keeping bugs away! I’ve used this netted hoodie several times, and it’s been a lifesaver during mosquito-heavy evenings and while working outdoors. The mesh is fine enough to block even the tiniest gnats, yet still breathable, so I don’t overheat. The fit is comfortable, and the hood has good coverage without feeling restrictive. Zippers and seams seem durable, and visibility through the mesh is clear. Only suggestion: a slightly stiffer brim or frame in the hood could help keep the net from touching the face. Overall, an excellent product for insect protection.

I’m 6’6” tall and find it difficult to get shirts that are long enough, especially ones dedicated to the outdoors and with elements like insect protection. Thankfully Columbia provides this one. It’s well made, lightweight and it fits! Keep us tall guys in mind.

I took this shirt into the BWCAW in northern Minnesota. It does all of of things well. But the zipper seems weak, and it doesn't have the stain repellency of other products Columbia carries, even though this is a short that will get worn cooking in the woods. Please good that. Also the bug net seems dark otherwise an awesome product. Great for a tall guy. Cool enough for hot days. Bought LT.
