I saw this in another retailer on sale, needed to try it on as some Columbia item s fit differently and didn't want to have to pay to return it to Columbia. I'm usually a med., the small fit but wanted it to wear with layers for a Safari. Great color haven't worn it yet to see if its wind proof. Odd thing the sleeves are fleece lined but its stops 3/4 of the way down, unsure why. Nicer looking in person.
This coat looks great and fits true to size. Unfortunately the fabric lining the pockets is some sort of cheap microfiber, I’m not even sure, it feels super awful to the touch. Which is too bad since that’s the only part of the jacket I’m consistently touching! I’m not sure why they didn’t just put the same fleece in there as the inside of the coat.

Purchased in the summer so I haven't needed it from a warmth perspective, but it does a great job keeping me dry and it's super cute. I will say if I were wearing it for long durations during the summer months, the fleece lining would be a little much for hot, humid summers in Illinois, but it's going to be perfect for fall/spring and even roomy enough for layers for early winter if I choose. 10/10 recommend. No regrets.
