Not a LOW enough low hiker.

The newer Strata is not really a LOW hiker. The sides of the shoe hit my ankle bone and were uncomfortable. The previous year’s model was about 3/4 inch lower so it wasn’t an issue. I ordered them online and had to return them for poor fit. I don’t want to have to add heel inserts to a brand new shoe to make it fit. Columbia shouldn’t change (raise) the upper edge of a shoe without better testing to see how it works with actual wear.

Grip is really good. Only minor issue is that the toe box is slightly too big
