The outside rubs on your ankle, and the tongue of the shoe is rolled on one side. I’ve purchased numerous shoes from Columbia but I’m not pleased with this particular shoe design. The shoe traction is not as good on the center region of the shoe too. We’ve slipped on several hikes.

A: Great question! The size 9 weighs 15oz per shoe. It is a lightweight shoe with light cushioning made for everyday hikes and walks around town.
