Unwearable Without Purchase of Supplemental Insert

I have been wearing these almost every day since my recent purchase, and I have been somewhat disappointed with them. Described as "TechLite™ midsole provides sustained cushioning and impact absorption using lightweight responsive foam, keeping you comfortable on any terrain", I'm shocked at how poorly the insert provides support or cushion comfort. I can wear them only with the purchase of an additional insert, which increased my overall cost by $19. Very disappointing purchase of a comfort-less shoe.

Got these as a gift for my boyfriend and they were a total hit. He says they are incredibly soft and comfortable for all-day wear. Best of all, they are 100% waterproof, he’s already tested them out in wet conditions and they kept his feet completely dry. Definitely worth every penny!
