Less than 2 months old and one of the eyelets broke off the boot. Their warranty service requires the boots to be shipped back for evaluation (at my expense) and the estimated time to receive an answer/fix is up to 6 weeks. These boots are less than 8 weeks old, no way I’m sending them away for 6 weeks to see if they can even fix them. I’ll go back to Merrell..
Very comfortable, good traction, excellent water proofing. After 2 or 3 very easy hikes the tread was missing chunks and some pieces I could pull off with my hands if I wanted. I got another pair through the warranty and after one very easy hike that included dirt, small rocks, gravel i can already see a few tiny chunks of tread missing. I don't drag my feet when I walk and I don't think they will be lasting much longer. My girlfriend has the women's version of these and she has been to all those hikes with me and they are fine. So I am not sure if it's just the way I walk or something but I personally need boots that are more durable than this.
Great color and fit, feels very supportive and lightweight. Added bonus is that these are PFAS free
The Newton boots are a great style, I have 4 pair. The fit is great, and the color is a well.

A: Great question! The two boots have similar qualities, however there are a couple of differences. This boot, the Men's Newton Wander™ Boot, has medium cushioning, meaning it has light responsive support. It also has Omni-MAX™, which is our advanced footwear system that combines versatile cushioning, enhanced stability, and increased traction.
