I purchased this jacket in the women's non plus sizes the first time around. I always complained about the shoulders, I guess mine are just too wide for the non plus sizes. Anyways. I've gained weight and purchased the same jacket in the plus sizes. No complaints! I enjoy the length and I even like the fur better on this hood, still atached by buttons but maybe those are more appropriately placed this time.

Warm, comfortable, and worth it. The color is great and it runs true to size. I'm not fond of furry anything on my clothing, so purchasing a coat with a furry hood was an original deal, but when I read that it was removable I had to make the purchase.

Q: Is the fur attached to the hood with a snap or a zipper? I have found the snaps on hoods for Columbia coats leave a gap for wind to get through.
