Great shoes!

These shoes are very comfortable to wear and very durable! I have been buying Columbia shoes for 10 years and they haven't let me down! They have great grip on the road. They also support my ankles when needed!!

Good, until....

Have had these shoes for less than a year. Great traction, grippy. I am quite hard on shoes, I do longer hikes and like fast decents. The soles have started to separate, the liner in the heel area has disintegrated resulting in plastic exposed, causing blisters. Ouch! They broke down more quickly than any other Columbia shoe I have owned. Giving Columbia another chance with a pair of Newton Nimble LTR. Fingers crossed they are better built.

Wonderful shoes

I’ve worn these shoes for about two years – in the mountains, around town, and cycling – and I’ve probably covered several thousand kilometres in them. The first thing I liked about these shoes was the grippy sole. Whether on rocks, concrete or grass, it never let me down. Secondly, the width of the shoes – I have quite wide feet and these shoes were a lifesaver. They’re well ventilated, so you can wear them even in summer (the non-waterproof version). The only thing I didn’t like is that they’re quite stiff, so walking for long periods on asphalt isn’t very comfortable.
