I bought five of the Columbia PFG shirts from a local retailer. The fit does run large as others have reported. But, more importantly, the stitching is unravelling. One of the shirts is actually falling apart. This was a disappointment.
I have bought several of these shirts for my husband and sons. They all love them. It keeps the sun off in a comfortable way.

It’s a nice shirt, but Columbia apparently doesn’t make a hat that matches it and I can’t find a single hat in any line that matches that color. It’s kind of aggravating because that’s the way I dress that’s my style and to not be able to find a single hand that matches your shirt is aggravating the say the least

A: Great question! While the polyester fabric is quick drying the UPF sun protection works great for use in the sun, pool chemicals like chlorine can be harsh on fabrics and break them down quicker over time.
