Looks amazing but not water repellent/waterproof

Though the jacket looks amazing, as its name suggests, it is not waterproof or perhaps it takes longer to dry compared to other brands. Whenever my daughter wears it to school on snowy days, the jacket becomes soaking wet. It takes a huge amount of time to dry and is NOT at all WATER REPELLENT, especially during snow play.
