A comfortable extra layer with lots of pockets, perfect for day hikes. Light insulation is good for those in-between season days when you want good balance of warmth and breathability. Haven't owned it long, but I expect it to hold up well over the years.
Yes, I recommend this product.
It's bulky, smelly and loose fitting. Great if you're a hunter. But for me, using it for travel or walking around town, it's my least favorite of the multiple vests I keep in my closet. I had to wash it immediately, it smelled so bad! Don't buy this. I usually love Columbia clothes, and have bought many items over the years. This is the first dud I've gotten.
Needed a vest to wear doing yard work. This vest is perfect. Great pockets and very comfortable. Thick canvas, will last for years I'm sure.

Bought this in green about a month ago. It's perfect for cool fall days over a T-shirt. Love the inner flannel lining and that it has an internal pocket for your phone or keys. The canvas texture is a little stiff at first but softens like a favorite pair of jeans after a little wear. Really impressed with the comfort.
