I bought this for an upcoming safari during the African winter. Insulation wise it has way more loft and potential warmth than my old Patagonia Nano Puff jacket. It also packs easier into the jacket pocket with nice zipper pulls and a handy grab loop, details lacking in the Nano Puff. Notable details are a robust zipper and snug elasticized cuffs to retain warmth. The exterior is not tear resistant and pocket linings are are noticeably thin. However it's a GREAT bargain at $72 compared to the original MSRP $200 tag price.
