I purchased this dress in a small and it fits perfectly, I am 5’9 and 135 pounds, and Columbia clothing always fits to a tee, their dresses, pants, and shirts are always soft and quality made, and the length of the sleeves on shirts are long enough.
I like the dress. I think I like the older pull string style better. The elastic waist can be itchy at times. I got compliments when I wore it.

A: Great question! While comparable, both sizes do differ in some areas. As XXL is apart of our Standard sizing that would align with most size options across apparel. Our 1X, being apart of our Extended sizing has more of a focus on width expansion. We recommend using our helpful 'Sizing Guide' to find the best size for you!
