It folds the wrong way. The backpack folds open at the side instead of at the bottom. This means that when you use it as a backpack all the contents weight is supported on the zip of the backpack instead of the fold

A: Great question! This Backpack does currently fit within TSA carry on standards, and should be able to fit under airplane seats amongst most airlines.
