I did not like the way these fit at all. I ordered a small and they were way too big. They were also very puffy along the front. Not flattering at all.

Wow. I knew better and ordered the fit recommendation size M. These shorts are huge. I likely could wear an XS and be comfortable. 28W,36 Hips, 5'6", 51 F. I planned on getting a small and figured for comfort, I'll try the medium as suggested. Columbia has the absolute worst return policy of all the brands I wear. I suppose I was (wishful) thinking that perhaps they have improved the size inconsistency in the women's clothes, pants specifically. So many negative reviews referencing fit, for multiple year after year one would think they'd rectify the problem but why would they when they charge customer return shipping fee. I will not be spending anymore money in this brand.. wait it out for another 2years and see what's changed after that. Or perhaps I won't allow them another chance. I've got plenty more options and have no qualms spending money when I know I can trust size and quality.. two issues I have with Columbia.
