Bought these shoes as a lighter trail option. Do not buy these. They are absolute blister makers on the heel. Really great traction and seem waterproof so far but absolutely will chew up your heel.

Grabbed these for the Luskville Falls trail near Gatineau, QC. If you've been there, you know it's basically 300m of loose rock and roots trying to trip you up. I was honestly a little nervous since my old shoes would've had me slipping all over. Turns out these things stick like glue. I actually started enjoying myself instead of just focusing on not eating dirt. Waterproofing held up too, feet stayed bone dry through all the muddy patches. By the time I hit the last steep push, I was feeling so good that I just started sprinting. No joke. Felt like a total beast. If you hike rocky, steep trails and have wide feet, get these. No blisters, no slips, just solid.
