Laces are too short, and too thick. These kids are still learning to tie shoes, and these laces keep untying, and the kids trip. The toe box is too narrow and compresses the feet a little. The tread is great, but overall not a shoe I would recommend.

These shoes are very sturdy but comfortable shoe that is perfect for everyday wear, as well as hiking and long walks. My grandson only needs two pair of shoes a year. Other brands he needs a new pair every two months. These are his second pair and I will always buy this brand, especially if you want comfort and shoes that last.
