This was definitely a great buy, the jacket is warm and not bulky with great pocket space. When it's a bit colder just throw on a thick sweater and you're good to go!

Overall I really like this jacket. In the couple weeks I've had it, Wisconsin has done its thing and thrown sub-zero windchill days followed by balmy 50 degree days and this jacket has handled it all pretty well. Columbia is upfront that this jacket isn't meant for the bitter cold but with a hoodie, scarf and hat it did just fine for short durations. The underarm zipper vents are great for when you start to get a bit too warm in it on those warmer days too. While we haven't had to shovel with much wind yet, I'm excited for the snow/wind bib to help stop those rouge gusts from sneaking in with a surprise chill.
