Not Cut correctl for Plus size

I bought a 2x and the dimensions are wrong for plus size. The circumference around the stomach and chest might be 2x, but the arms pits and arms are tight. I might try returning it, but I get charged $6 for the shipping, how is that right? I might have gotten a 3X if I could have returned it, but at this point I am too close to my trip to attempt it without having to shell out more $$ for expedited shipping. Too bad, the other Columbia Jacket I bought with the same order is cut correctly for the size. The other jacket is the Women's Hikebound II Jacket, but it's not as packable as this jacket. Not very happy.
