Bought this jacket for a trip to Alaska knowing I’d likely be in the rain. This jacket is not water resistant. It repels light musty rain for a short time. Weirdly, I was soaked under my arms the most! The rain ran down seams under my arm and they were soaked. Buy this for a nice light jacket but do not buy it to be used as a rain jacket!

Bought this jacket with our Alaskan vacation in mind. Wanted something lightly lined, waterproof and roomy enough to allow layering of thicker fleece if needed. I purchased the jacket in March in NE Ohio so I had the opportunity to wear it in temps from 30-60 degrees plus in the rain! Jacket is exactly what I wanted. Kept me dry in the rain, warm in the cool spring weather and with one thicker layer it kept me warm on those chillier days.
