I bought the same beanie about 10 years ago and recently purchased a replacement. The new beanie is roughly one-third thinner than before. The length is slightly longer. Because of the thinner fabric, it may not provide the same warmth and may not be suitable for freezing winter conditions like the original.
Found it too big for my kid. Warmth- should be good- did not try Color- as per the photo Material- good enough

A: Great question! The Youth Whirlibird™ Watch Cap and the Kids' Whirlibird™ Cuffed Beanie are both constructed of acrylic yarn, but the Beanie has a cuffed bottom which can increase warmth around the ears.
