l Like the shoe as it has a wide toe area, and I'm 72 yrs, need the wider toe. The insole is too thin, so I got a memory foam insert, and all is great. The hard rubber sole is long lasting, and an appreciated feature as I do a lot of walking.

Well, it appears these are great! Not only are they a solid hiking shoe, but I was able to get them for 1/2 the price of others or even less. I'm not sure about long term durability, but the breathability is excellent and unlink some others I have, sand doesn't seem to get trapped in the material.

These are great shoes. I've been wearing them as everyday shoes for almost 8 years now. They last about 2 years with everyday use wear. I have fallen arches and these provide great arch support.

A: Great question! States have implemented local restrictions for products that may contain PFA's, or forever chemicals. While Columbia has phased out the use of these in our current production process, some older inventory like this Shoe may still contain these. A: Great question! These hiking shoes are not fully waterproof, however the combination suede, mesh, and webbing upper provides water resistance in light water exposure.
