Never would have thought that a "BIG" size was actually smaller than an equivalent standard size. Ordered a 2X - Big and the 2XL Standard size is actually larger. So, buyer beware! Check that size chart and order accordingly. The Standard fit may be the better option when ordering. Columbia did offer a one time shipping label, but if I reordered I would have to pay for shipping to get it here. I will just deal with the tighter fit.

Love this shirt so much I bought it in all the colors. It’s lightweight and very breathable. The UV protection is perfect so I don’t have to cake on sunscreen to do yard work. I was initially concerned it might fit too slim like most Columbia stuff is there says, however, I found these to be a looser fit that is greatly appreciated in the hot weather this summer.

A: The terminal tackle fabric can offer sun protection while in-and-around water. We have a lot of customers that use these shirts as swim shirts. The fabric will dry fairly quickly if its warm enough, and it helps reduce the need for sunscreen.

Q: Hi, According to you size chart, the Standard “xl” is exactly the same as the “Big” 1x, but the Big 2xl is actually a big smaller (48-50, chest) than the Standard 2xl (50-53, chest). Is seems odd. Are the size charts correct? Tnx!
