Perfectly sized flashlight for me. A family member had one which I really liked and decided to get my own. Since it was unavailable for a bit, I tried others, and ended up returning them for being too bulky or poorly designed.

Very nice and bright for a small flashlight .The switch is a little hard to push,especially if you are an older person or have arthritis etc.etc. Otherwise it's a great solid flashlight.

First of all, this flashlight has the expected Columbia quality, is attractive, and would be fine for your glovebox or kitchen drawer. In theory, a 2AA flashlight should be desirable as a take-along. The AA battery has twice the energy of an AAA at the same price, and batteries are sold in 2-packs. But this execution is unnecessarily bulky for hiking or backpacking. It is 6.75 inches long and weighs 6.25 oz with batteries. For comparison, a Diehard 2AA 250 lumen flashlight made by Dorcy is 5.75 inches long and weighs 3.75 oz with batteries. The Dorcy has twist focus, while the Columbia has fixed focus with a dim spot in the middle of the beam. With deference to its apparent quality, there are better choices for the outdoorsman.
