Sheets feel great, but poor durability

I love the feel of the sheets. The cotton is great in the summer and winter. I am very disappointed that the sheets wear out very quickly. I purchased a set of queen sheets for my daughter and a set of King sheets for my husband and I. In less than a year there was a hole worn in one of the fitted sheets and the other sheet set had a hole in it within 2 years. It appears that it is not possible to purchase just a fitted sheet to replace the ones with holes.
