Warm but large, so size down

Definitely size down in this jacket. Columbia mentions that it runs large, and it does. I ordered a size down and it’s still large enough to easily fit a thick sweater under it. The shoulders seem a little broad for me, almost like they are dropped shoulders. I like that the pockets are fleece lined and zippered underneath the flap, but I do wish it had the usual jacket pockets in addition to the square front pockets. It does seem very warm!

not as expected

Not as good as I expected. I am 130lb and 5'2, waist is around 30. I normally wear size small or medium. According to the size chart I should order medium but after I read the comment I decided to order small. I got the small today, the waist area is just too big, I am not slim but still too big, I don't bother to return and order extra small because if I order extra small I think the shoulder area will not fit me, the small size actually fits my shouder just perfect, I just don't undertand why they make the waist area gigantic. I like the deep pocket. I order the jacket 10 days ago for $128 but it charges me the tax, after tax it is almost $140. Today when I check the price is $112, it makes me not feeling comfortable, if the price is drop after 30 days then I I am ok, the company will not offer price adjustment too. If youyo want to order ths jacket, size down 1-2 size. The originally price is $320, I expect it will be thicker than the actual item. It will not warm enough if it is lower than 30 degree, thinner than expected.

Parka fit and comfort

Today, I just purchased my 1st Columbia down parka/coat. At first glance, you can tell it is oversized so of course you should aim for your true size. I got a size small navy color. I love how they Designed it with the inside drawstring to give you that right amount of shirring at back so, I love how it drapes on me. This is better than the other competitor, NF version. Beautiful style and color. I am happy with the fit and size since I can still have a little thicker sweatshirt but enough room. I am happy with the fit! Kudos to the Tech team! They don’t get enough credit but that’s OK.

Size runs large

I have another Columbia parka, size S, that fits perfectly. So I bought this one in the same size, but it is huge. I will need to return it. It seems warm, though.
