I bought a stadium style down coat last year and it came in very handy during the extremely cold weather this January and February. I bought this insulated bomber jacket to complement the stadium coat., since I thought its shorter length would come in handy while spending time outdoors with my dog. I was happily surprised to find that it was every bit as warm as my stadium coat, and especially comfortable during my morning dog walks. The jacket is made of high quality materials, and the fit and finish is great. It is also reasonably water resistant, as I found out during several days with freezing rain. The jacket is also great for running errands, since it fits comfortably when driving, much more so than the stadium coat. Very pleased so far.
