Warm and waterproof

We've owned a lot of snow pants for our kids over the years and these are well worth the money. Completely water proof and incredibly warm. They're also incredibly light weight. My daughter is 5' and we opted for a large. They're a bit long, but we should get a couple winters of use out of them. A couple things that could use improvement: the zipper-side shoulder strap would be much better with a clip or snap on it to make it easier to put on and take off. There is a string inside the pants that connects the hip pockets to the lining across the back of the thigh area on both sides. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be there, but on one side it was very short and causing the lining to bunch up. I was able to break it without causing any apparent damage. Despite those minor things, these are fantastic pants that'll keep them warm and dry even in the coldest temperatures.
