Great jacket, particularly for travel
This is my second purchase of a Columbia Blue Skies Point Interchange Jacket. I liked the first one so much I decided to order another in a different color. This jacket was perfect for a late-winter trip through the counties of eastern Europe. On days when the weather was nice, but cool to cold, I wore the inner jacket without the outer shell. It kept me plenty warm, even while dining outside in the squares of Krakow and Prague. Critical to my satisfaction with the jacket was how it kept me dry on the days with precipitation, and there were quite a few of those! I spent long hours exploring outside and always felt dry and comfortable. The outer shell never let the water seep through to the inner jacket. I didn't even use an umbrella because the adjustable hood did a good job of keeping my neck and face dry, and the velcro cuffs prevented rain from soaking my sleeves. Additionally, the zippered pockets were great for keeping my cell phone, wallet, etc. dry and secure. Also, the fit and shape of the jacket are very flattering. Next winter I will be touring the Baltics, and I am confident the Blue Skies jacket will keep me warm and dry. I highly recommend this jacket, particularly if cold weather travel is in your plans.
